About David
I am a Visual Effects and Motion Graphics Student that has been passionate about chess for 5 years. I have been training students since I first opened my own chess club at my secondary school so I have lots of experience teaching people of all ages.

I am not here to impress you, I am here to inspire you. Without seeing the beauty in such a complex game players will soon lose interest, so I believe this is crucial to teach passion within any subject.
On our first meeting I will ask for us to play a game to get a sense of the strength of the player and develop a teaching style that best accommodates them. Students' input is most important if they have suggestions on what they want to learn, like learning the Evans Gambit.
