About Yingyi
I am a native Chinese tutor from China with solid experience and professionalism in language instruction. I hold a Level 2-A certification in the Chinese Putonghua Proficiency Test, demonstrating my strong foundation in Mandarin. I am currently in New Zealand. Additionally, I have passed the CET-6 English exam, which allows me to effectively communicate with non-native Chinese speakers and clarify language concepts.
In previous tutoring experiences, I worked with a fifth-grade student, supporting their studies across all subjects, including Chinese language. If you’re new to the language, I can start with the basics, including character writing and usage. If you already have some knowledge, we can focus more on listening and reading practice. We can have a preliminary discussion to create a personalized learning plan that fits your specific needs and goals.
I use interactive tools for online teaching, such as screen sharing, virtual whiteboards, and multimedia resources, to make lessons engaging and effective. I also integrate spaced repetition and visual aids to help reinforce vocabulary and grammar concepts.
