About Sam
I'm a BSc Economics graduate who loves practicing logical thinking through playing Chinese chess.
I've been a Chinese chess lover since 3 years old. I won my first district level championship at the age of 8 in China.
In addition, I enjoyed learning ancient Chinese philosophy and history from the various methodologies of the game. I look forward to sharing what I learned as well as promoting Chinese chess culture!

I'm a friendly tutor, who is very encouraging to all students. Apart from teaching chess, I have also taught Chinese middle school level maths, physics, chemistry as well as basketball. I'm young and energetic, and students enjoyed my lessons very much.
The length of my lessons will range from 40 minutes to 1 hour. All ages are welcome, and I'm excited to help beginners or intermediate level players with improving their games.
