About QingYu
Hello! I’m a native Chinese speaker currently studying at Monash University. I have experience teaching children and enjoy helping students discover the fun and beauty of the Chinese language. My lessons are interactive, patient, and tailored to each student’s level and goals. I can communicate effectively in English, and I always make sure my students feel comfortable and confident while learning. Whether you’re just starting or looking to improve your skills, I’ll do my best to guide you through each step of your language journey.

I believe in creating a supportive and engaging learning environment that caters to each student’s individual needs. My approach is student-centered, focusing on interactive activities and practical usage of the language. I incorporate a mix of speaking practice, listening exercises, and reading comprehension to build a well-rounded skill set.
Typical lessons are about 60 minutes long, allowing enough time to cover new content and reinforce learning.
I have experience teaching children and am a native Chinese speaker. While my English is continually improving, I am able to communicate effectively and ensure a positive learning experience.
My lessons are suitable for beginners and intermediate learners, and I welcome students of all ages who are eager to learn Chinese.
Lessons can be held both online and in person. I am based in Clayton, so for in-person lessons, locations that are too far away may need to be discussed.
