About Yang
• A native Chinese speaker who passed “Mandarin Proficiency Test: Advanced in the Secondary Class” during undergraduate studies.
• I majored in Business English in colleague, and passed TEM 8(Test for English Major) in China; and I am proficient in communicating in English.
• I studied the differences of written translation between English and Chinese, and published an academic essay on how to build a bilingual thinking-pattern.
• Personally, I am quite outgoing ,and wish to build relationships with people in different cultures and also learn from others!

Teaching method:
• Tailor-made classes for different levels of learners. (beginner/intermediate learner/advanced learner)
• For oral Chinese, the content would be based on scenarios you might confront in daily life, with a focus on some important expressions that are commonly used. (After class, I would also like to share some of my thoughts on cultural differences)
• For written Chinese:
o For beginner, the focus would be learning basic characters and the methodology relating to forming up a word in Chinese, and how could you predict the meaning of a word.
o For intermediate learner, more attention would be paid to understand various meanings of same words or phrases, and write basic essays.
o For advanced learner, the teaching would be diversifying your skills in applying Chinese in different contexts, and writing more complex essays.
• In anyway, it depends on what is your preference, and I can make a plan for you!
