About Roz
You'll find me to be upbeat and patient with my students. My work experience in an array of different settings rounds me out as a person, from biomathematics research labs to line cooking to being a favorite substitute for the math teachers in Mukilteo. I accept all students as they come and keep things chill. A stressed student isn't able to learn as well as a relaxed one!

My lessons are best for middle school students struggling with their math and science classes. My expertise is in helping students approach tough concepts from alternate points of view or ways of thinking about them. What makes sense for one student may confuse another, and that's okay. Bring me a concept and I will explain it a dozen different ways until we find what makes sense to you, because our brains all work differently!
