I focus on example-based learning. Meaning for a typical lesson plan I would first explain the main concepts we are learning, and work you through several examples that encompass these concepts, before getting you to try them yourself. I know from experience lecturing at you will get you nowhere with the materials, and will work with you to ensure everything makes sense both in theory, and in application.
