Being a teacher myself, I can say with confidence that Larysa is a great teacher. Always listens and adapts the lessons on the fly. Her lessons are full of knowledge but never neglecting practical specific information corresponding to the student's playing. Learning to play the piano is quite challenging for me. But with Larysa, I felt I can do it. After a couple of lessons, I could see my progress. Larisa is an awesome teacher! I can tell she prepares her classes thoroughly and she knows exactly what her students are capable of. Even when she teaches me difficult things she breaks the information down so that it is easier to understand, she uses objects to illustrate what she is talking about or writes things down on a whiteboard so they are legible even via the internet. She provides me with A TON (!) of interesting tips which help me to improve my playing almost immediately. However, she makes sure not to overwhelm me and there is always a pleasant learning environment. She is one of the most helpful and patient teachers I have ever had. In only a few hours I have learned so much from her and my playing has improved, too. To put it in a nutshell, I would strongly recommend Larisa as a teacher for beginners or advanced players, for children and for grownups.
