About Hayee

Hello there! I'm Hayee, who recently completed the CMUS program, and I'm eager to continue sharing my passion for piano through teaching. My love for the piano began at the age of 5, and although I took a hiatus from playing between the ages of 12 and 15, I returned to the instrument with renewed enthusiasm. Teaching has always held a special place in my heart, as it allows me to impart my knowledge and skills to others. My goal is to inspire my students to find the same joy in playing the piano that I have experienced throughout my musical journey.

I possess strong organisational skills and can effectively plan our lessons. My teaching style is characterised by patience, and I enjoy establishing connections with students to foster a positive and enjoyable learning experience. I am available to support my students beyond our scheduled lessons, offering reassurance that I will be there for them throughout their entire music career. I am confident that I would be an ideal candidate as your piano teacher, and I would teach to the best of my abilities.

About the lesson

I am a very flexible and adaptable piano teacher who can match my time with my students. I am patient and I would work well with students both beginning piano and intermediate pianists.

I value communication as a key element of my teaching, as well as practising everyday to maintain the knowledge and what was taught in the past week. Furthermore, I have had experience teaching piano to children and beginners and I have enjoyed it thoroughly. I can also teach at a slower pace to match the students level of understanding. Students can also bring materials that they want me to teach such as scores and piano books.

I usually recommend my students to have 1 hour lessons however this can be extended or shortened depending on where the student is at.
