About Scarlett
"Do you wonder how complex financial models transition from raw data into functional software? After 4 years working in fintech and quant roles, I approach programming as an exercise in rigorous logic rather than rote memorization. My academic background spans a BCom in Economics and Actuarial Studies alongside a BSc in Data Science. I focus heavily on helping Year 12 students navigate pathways into top-tier university programs.
My daily work involves web development and object-oriented programming in Python and JavaScript. I find that most learners struggle to bridge the gap between theory and actual system architecture. Dealing with technical hurdles on coding platforms is essentially where my professional expertise becomes highly relevant for you.
You will find my teaching character is direct, structured, and firmly grounded in industry standards. I aim to ensure you are fully prepared for the demands of a quantitative career."
