About Jesus
I teach double bass at the University of Texas at El Paso, and have taught private double bass lessons for many years. I studied at the Peabody Conservatory, where I earned a Doctor of Musical Arts and Master of Music degrees.

Students work on college audition preparation, solo repertoire, All-Region and All-State etudes, orchestral excerpts, youth orchestra auditions. Students from complete beginners to pre-professional. Lessons can be with a specific goal in mind (preparing for an upcoming audition) or can be long-term to improve on the instrument (focusing on scales, bow technique, etc.). Students can be French bow or German bow players.
