I approach each essay with an open mind and try to get into the writers shoes to understand their point and argument. Instead of completely rewriting the essay provided, I offer different substitutions so the student can choose what would work ideally. This helps put the student in control and allows for them to get different options, which will further allow writing skills in the future.
