About Ammaar

Hey there!

My name is Ammaar, and I am committed to helping students overcome confusion and struggle when it comes to mathematics. I know math is not everyone's niche, and it certainly doesn't have to be, but I guarantee you that studying it under my mentorship will be fun, easy, and very manageable.
My aim is to make you feel confident in everything from solving equations to using mathematical intuition. I am very eager to teach you what my wonderful teachers have taught me, and increase your love and understanding for numbers. I hope that we will get along, and I am very eager to meet and teach every one of you.

If I am understanding correctly, the objective of this program is to teach students new content. Through experience, I have taught algebra and precalculus to students online and in person, and I usually do it as I expect most teachers to do it: Plan the day's content beforehand, teach students the content, open to any questions, and assign homework.
I am very committed to understanding students' questions and helping them overcome any confusion that they may experience during a lesson. What makes me different is that I do not restrict myself to the standard curriculum. If time permits, I explain the meaning and derivation of why things happen mathematically. My aim is to solidify concepts in students' heads not only for the day or the week of the lesson, but for as long as possible so that they may refer to them later and use mathematical intuition to solve problems of greater complexity.
