About Riley

After graduating high school, I went to college on full scholarship from Florida Bright Futures, received over $250,000 in scholarship offers collectively, and got into top-tier universities such as Carnegie Mellon. I went on to graduate with a B.S. in Exercise Science from Nova Southeastern University, where I was awarded the Outstanding Student of the Year Award for Healthcare Sciences. I am currently pursuing a second degree in Economics from Florida International University with a specialization in Mathematical Sciences. I am an accomplished student myself, and an experienced tutor focused on delivering maximum value to all of the students and families that I work with.

About the lesson

I implement Discussion Based Learning to reinforce information recall and develop critical thinking and problem solving skills in students. This is applied to Educational Programs I have created that progressively overload a student's ability in a particular subject. For all of my students, I provide Classwork, Homework, Practice Tests, and various Resources for them to study and review. Subject Tutoring sessions are typically 60 minutes and Test Preparation sessions are typically 90 minutes.

Courses for Subject Tutoring include Geometry, Algebra, Calculus, Economics, Chemistry, and English. Test Preparation packages are comprehensive programs that prepare students for College Entrance Exams and guide them through the College and Scholarship Application process. I tutor for major exams such as the SAT, ACT, HSPT, HESI, GRE, and select AP Exams. With all my students, I work on developing organizational, test-taking, and note-taking skills. All students get a FREE Evaluation & Consultation where I will assess their current knowledge and skills, identify learning goals and outcomes, and develop a plan for moving forward.
