About Tarran

Since graduating college in 2016, my journey with teens began long before then, back in 2009. As an older brother figure and positive role model, I've been guiding and supporting young men through their studies, even during my time in youth group. My life experiences have equipped me with a profound understanding of adversity, which I channel into being a beacon of positivity for those who may lack such a figure in their lives.

In tutoring, my passion shines through as I help students navigate the complexities of equations. I firmly believe that there's more to learning than meets the eye, and I strive to impart this understanding to my students. Patience is paramount, regardless of who you are, and it's a quality I possess in abundance.

I've worked with young men facing various challenges that impact their learning journey. From individuals coping with abuse-induced stress and distrust to those on the autism spectrum who simply learn differently, and even to the most confident individuals who struggle to seek help, I've encountered and supported them all. Whether it's in math, English, or youth group activities, I've embraced the opportunity to make a positive impact in their lives.

Every moment spent building into the lives of these young men fills me with joy and purpose. No matter the type of person, I've likely had the privilege of guiding someone similar, and I cherish every opportunity to do so. Let's embark on this journey together, where learning transcends equations and becomes a transformative experience for us all.

I've always had a passion for math and guiding others through the intricate world of equations.
