About Sam
I am a college math professor with 15 years of teaching college and over 20 years of tutoring experience. Throughout this time, I have taught over ten thousand students from a diverse background both domestic and international. My teaching philosophy is centered on the belief that understanding math is not dependent on one's IQ measure. I believe that anyone is capable of understanding even the most complex mathematical concepts as long as they are provided with the simplest and most straightforward explanation. I strive to break down complex ideas into small, manageable chunks and to present them in a way that is easy for my students to grasp. I believe that with the right approach and guidance, anyone can learn and succeed in math.

I teach all levels of college and high school math that include statistics, algebra, precalculus, trigonometry, calculus I, II, and II, differential equations, and linear algebra. I have been teaching and tutoring all of these subjects for nearly two decades in the simplest possible manner to students from all academic and cultural backgrounds.
