About Sophie
I am a college student at Lipscomb University and am earning a degree in English Education with a certification in ELL. I am entering my senior year and working as a tutor at the university writing center. I help undergraduate and graduate students reach their writing goals. In addition, I have student taught in private and public settings, working with middle and high school students in the classroom. I have experience building lesson plans and creating differentiated instruction for students. Furthermore, I believe building relationships with students and connecting on a personal level is important. I have volunteered as a camp counselor for junior high students and provided the support necessary for the position.

I modify my lesson plans and provide proper support for every student based on their specific needs. I use my experience as a writing tutor in a college setting and my student-teaching placements to help my students reach their English language goals.
