About Maia
I am a rising senior at UNC Chapel Hill and I have been tutoring since I was a sophomore in high school. I have tutored many students, through both private lessons and organized peer tutoring. I have worked mainly with middle and high school students and specialize in mathematics. The students I work with always show improvement in their understanding of the subject, which ultimately results in better grades!

My teaching/tutoring method tends to incorporate working with students individually so that I can ensure they have my undivided attention and support. I find that it is most beneficial to the student to go through practice problems and ensure that they can explain their work, their steps, and the subject matter back to me.
