About Zach
I am a college student and I always haven taken my classwork seriously. For example, when I was a college freshman, I took Honors Linear Algebra and received an A. I have also taken calculus, multivariable calculus, discrete math, and differential equations.
My main professional strength is listening to the student's thoughts and being explicit in the goals of the lesson. Instead of assuming, I like to ask students what their goals are and what they want to learn, and then help them reach those goals.

My approach is to always meet the student where they are at.
A typical lesson plan will break down a complicated subject into a set of smaller, simpler concepts and teach those smaller concepts first. Unlike many tutoring practices which encourage memorization, I will not focus on memorization. Instead, I will explain the thought process of how to attack the math or science problem so that the student can learn how to attack similar problems by themselves.
My lessons are for any math class taken in middle school or high school.
