I am a dedicated Virginia Tech student majoring in Elementary Education with a strong passion for helping students succeed academically and build confidence in their abilities. My background in education has given me valuable experience understanding different learning styles and finding effective ways to explain challenging concepts.
I have a strong foundation in math and science and enjoy helping students turn difficult subjects into manageable, understandable lessons. I also have a background in scientific research. I am patient, dependable, and committed to creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.

Teaching Method & Techniques: I use a combination of explanation, guided practice, examples, and hands-on activities to help students understand concepts rather than simply memorize information. I encourage students to ask questions and work through problems independently while providing support when needed.
Typical Lesson Plan: We begin by reviewing previous material and identifying areas that need extra attention. Then, I introduce or explain the new concept using clear examples. We practice together before having the student try problems independently. We finish by reviewing what was learned and identifying anything to practice before the next session.
What Sets Me Apart: My background in Elementary Education gives me a strong understanding of how children learn. I am patient, encouraging, and willing to explain concepts in multiple ways until they make sense.
Who My Lessons Are For: I primarily work with elementary and middle school students, especially those who need support in math and science, homework help, test preparation, or building confidence in their academic skills.
