About Kaylah
My goal as a tutor is not only to help students improve academically, but also to help them build confidence in their abilities. I believe that when children feel supported and encouraged, they become more willing to ask questions, take on challenges, and believe in their potential. I work to create a positive and patient learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them. By celebrating progress and focusing on each student’s strengths, I aim to help them develop strong study habits, independence, and confidence that will benefit them both in school and beyond.

I am a college student currently attending Rollins College, where I continue to pursue my academic and personal passions. Throughout high school, I maintained a 4.0 GPA while consistently challenging myself with Honors, AP, and college-level coursework, particularly in advanced reading and literature classes. These experiences strengthened my critical thinking, analytical reading, and academic writing skills while fostering a lifelong passion for learning.
I have always had a strong love for reading, education, and helping children succeed academically. My academic journey has been shaped by a desire to support others in their learning, especially young students who benefit from encouragement and guidance.
In addition to my academic achievements, I have hands-on experience working with children, including supporting students with special needs, which has helped me develop patience, empathy, communication skills, and an understanding of different learning styles. Growing up with two younger siblings, I frequently assisted them with homework and school projects, further strengthening my ability to explain concepts clearly and support students in their learning.
Through both my academic background and personal experiences, I am passionate about education, literacy, and empowering children to build confidence in their abilities. My goal is to continue using my skills and experiences to make a positive impact in the lives of young learners.
