My teaching method is first, asking the kids which type of learning works best for them. Are they a reader? Do they comprehend information better if I speak it to them? Are they a hands on learner? All of these questions are something I would tackle in the first session. I do believe in working on something everyday in order to build a skill, so I would assign 30 minutes of practice time each session. I encourage students to keep a notebook/planner in order to keep all of their assignments in order.
