About Nikolai
I am a freshman at Wabash College in Indiana. I am majoring in physics, and have a special interest in mathematics and the natural sciences (chemistry, biology). I'd be more than happy to tutor you in anything pertinent to the previously mentioned subjects. I would also be more than willing to help you with test-taking strategies for the SAT (on which I scored a 1510) and ACT (on which I scored a 35).
I have always enjoyed helping my fellow classmates understand difficult concepts, especially because I am highly interested in the subjects that I tutor in.
In high school, I tutored many fellow students in pre-calculus and chemistry, and saw their grades increase at least one full letter grade.

I am passionate about getting to know my pupils and watching them grow in their knowledge over the course of the weeks or months that I tutor them.
My method of tutoring consists primarily of using the students' resources and showing them how best to tackle their work with what they have already been provided.
Oftentimes, students feel utterly lost and overwhelmed, or feel that their assignments have snowballed and they don't even know where to begin, and I approach by breaking their studies down into manageable, bite-sized pieces and I explain complex, difficult-to-grasp concepts in basic laymen's terms.
