Instead of relying on a single method to teach, I like to devise an individual study plan and goals for each student I teach. My teaching philosophy allows me to tailor the classes to whatever needs my students might have.

Perfect! JY went above and beyond to help me get an A in a Physics course. It was always very easy to schedule zoom tutoring times. Her response time is fast and her hours are flexible if you are working or very busy. She tutored me at least once a week and was available for extra sessions before tests and exams.
Perfect! She’s a gem!
Perfect! JY was absolutely fantastic! My daughter needed assistance with her math during summer vacation, and she provided everything I expected - patience, professionalism, and kindness. She was worth every penny, and I encourage her services for anyone else in need of math assistance.

J helped me study for the MCAT this summer and I couldn’t have done it without her! For background, I had never taken any physics or biochemistry classes and I have a very poor understanding of organic chemistry. During class, J would help explain everything from the most foundational aspect and then we would build on my knowledge from there. Additionally, she would provide me with examples that I would not have been able to find in any textbooks which really helped me solidify certain concepts.
Coming from many years of learning disability and not being able to understand the mathematical concepts she really showed it and explained concepts in a digestible way!
She understood exactly what I needed from our math session. Quick to help solve some issues I had in the subject. Would highly recommend.
I needed help with my Orgo 1 summer course and JY was always there to provide help and guide me through the entire course. I was able to get an A thanks to her. Would very highly recommend her for Orgo and Orgo lab!
Excellent tutor!! My son made great improvements in Algebra 2 since tutoring and we are looking forward to continuing with her for SAT prep. I would highly recommend her!
She literally SAVED ME with my ASVAB arithmetic reasoning section. I messaged her a few hours before my exam and she helped me understand the essential equations I needed to know for the exam!
She has helped my son study for SAT Math for the past few months. Overall, we are very pleased. She takes the time to understand your needs and her teaching style allowed my son to better grasps the concepts. Definitely one of the best out there!
Truly amazing tutor! My daughter needed a little help with the math portion for her upcoming SAT. Just after a few lessons she says she feels much better about the exam.
J helped me cram for my Caculus II final and quite literally saved my life... 100% recommend her!
Highly knowledgeable tutor. She would go out of her way to provide extra materials and practice questions. I felt like she really cares about her students and would definitely recommend her to anyone preparing for AP chem!
