About Jacobo Antonio
I am currently a student at the University of Melbourne and I have been playing chess since age 7. I played semi-professionally until I was 15, participating in the World Open in Arlington, Virginia in 2014, in the Championship of Central America and the Caribbean and finishing in second place in the Costa Rican National U14 Tournament.

I absolutely love playing chess and I have been doing it for the most part of my life. My lessons are geared towards beginners who are looking to learn how to play or intermediate players who are looking to get better and learn new skills. I believe practice makes perfect and that the best way to get better at chess is by getting plenty of playing experience. I also like to emphasize the importance of tactical awareness in chess and I teach it by practising with help of several tactical exercises.
