About Ricky
I did not learn to teach from a college - my family is full of teachers, and I learned tried and true methods handed down for generations. I am a storyteller - I teach by giving real-world examples and then forming a story around these examples. This works extremely well for Biology but is more difficult to do with mathematics. Interestingly, it is pretty easy to do with Statistics. If you are in need of help in Biology or Statistics, I can create a plan for you to grasp all the major concepts by watching my videos on YouTube or by zooming with me one-on-one. I also have many exercises for you to complete that I have accumulated in my 30+ years of teaching.

I am a story teller. You forget memorized things after a few weeks but stories last a lifetime. I typically teach you a real world example and then form a story around the example. I have over 30 years of experience and my students often tell me I am the best teacher they ever had.
