About Zoe
Tactical patterns and king safety define the core of my technical instruction. 13 years of coaching have refined my ability to identify the exact moments where a position shifts from equal to winning.
My BA Education degree informs how I break down complex positional understanding into manageable concepts for my students. I spent 13 years grinding through competitive circuits to secure multiple state titles before dedicating my life to this craft. Club players often struggle with board vision, so I prioritize rigorous blunder checking during every session. Middle game planning remains the most neglected aspect of most amateur games.
Attacking play is a skill that requires disciplined calculation rather than just intuition. I hold a FIDE Trainer certification that validates my technical approach to the game. Students range from kids just starting out to serious adults preparing for major tournament play. My method emphasizes objective analysis to ensure you understand why a move succeeds or fails.
