About Dimitra
I am a qualified coach and instructor with experience teaching students of all ages! With more than 5 years of coaching experience, I believe my patience, passion and experience will allow me to teach students from a diverse range of backgrounds, guiding them to achieve their goals.
My focus is on working with students to understand each individuals training needs and goals and work to correct stroke technique to maximise efficiency to become a better swimmer and grow confidence in the water!
I have Austswim Swimming and water safety teacher and teacher of competitive stroke qualifications and a current working with children’s check.

The first lesson includes a full assessment of you or your child's water skills, we then tailor a lesson plan to suit your needs and preferred schedule. I offer 30 minute, 45 minute or 1 hour lessons dependant on what your goals are
I tailor my lessons to create a comfortable and supportive learning environment for all levels of swimmers.
My teaching method depends on what the parents and students are looking for. If you are looking for coaching, I aim to help my students build confidence in the water by developing or improving any of the 4 strokes, speed and most importantly, technique! If you are looking for swim instructing, my first priority is teaching water safety and familiarisation aiming for the student to feel comfortable in the water, then progressing to learn to swim.
I teach from ages 4 and above, from beginners all the way up to squad/advanced levels!
