About Anja
I bring a unique perspective to research tutoring, having transitioned from school teaching to academic research after completing my postgraduate studies in psychology and research methodology. Over the past 10 years, I've worked in academia in South Africa and Auckland, developing a deep passion for research and mentoring students through their projects. I understand firsthand how overwhelming quantitative research can feel - I've been there myself! My calm, patient approach helps transform students from feeling overwhelmed to confident in their abilities. Having experienced both sides of the learning journey, I genuinely enjoy guiding students through their research challenges and celebrating their breakthroughs along the way.
