About Elena
Just finished HSC with a ninety ATAR and am about to start uni studying a bachelor of forensic science at the University of technology. I Have been speaking Italian since I was a baby as it was my first language and have continued studying it all my life! I also went on exchange to Italy and believe this helped me significantly and gives my an advantage over others in regards to Italian!

For students completing Italian, it’s so important that to practises all 4 skills that they will be tested on consistently. To do this growing the vocabulary and learning idioms is so important to stand out to markers and sound authentic in writing. Furthermore, constant speaking practice and listening tasks will also make part of lessons as well as writing and grammar activities to ensure basics are understood and the student can achieve great marks! Most importantly, I will focus on the students weaknesses to improve but enforce their strengths to ensure they continue doing their best!
