About James
I have experience tutoring pupils at multiple levels of ability, and have been able to find different ways of explaining topics to those pupils in order to facilitate their learning.
Having these experiences means that I understsand different pupils think differently and understand that not all explanations will work for everybody, so would try different explanations and teaching methods until the one that us right for the pupil is found.

A length of a typical lesson will be 1 hour, however it con be arranged to last longer if required.
I have completed all school years of maths getting As in National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher.
I also recently completed my undergraduate degree in Mathematics from the University of Glasgow.
I have previous experience in tutoring pupils as I have tutored pupils in the past, having tutored a pupil in the department of additional support.
In addition to this I have spent time as a classroom assistant in The Glasgow Academy, while also completing my disertation on a topic of mathematical education.
Lessons will be for any pupil up to and including scottish higher level.
All of this experience will go into planning lessons to best suit the individual being taught and will focus specifically on their areas of weakness
