With a PhD in Web Development and over four years of teaching experience, I am passionate about helping students learn the skills needed to succeed in the tech industry. In the web development course, we start by learning the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript—the core technologies for building websites. As the course progresses, students learn about responsive web design, using frameworks like Bootstrap to create mobile-friendly websites. We also dive into modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, allowing students to build dynamic, interactive web applications. The focus is on applying these skills in real-world projects.
Students work on hands-on coding exercises and projects that help them build a portfolio of work. We also cover best practices in web development, including version control using Git, debugging techniques, and optimizing website performance. The course ensures that students are well-equipped to build professional-quality websites and applications.
