About Stephanie
Hi! My name is Stephanie and I am passionate about helping learners of all ages develop their French abilities and foster a love for the French language! I am currently in my fourth year of a psychology program at the Glendon Campus of York University, and continue to expand and improve my French knowledge and abilities.
I have always had a passion for learning and have always loved school, and it has become increasingly important to me to help other students develop that same love and accomplish their academic goals.
I have six years of diverse experiences working with children of various ages, with diverse needs. Along with being a tutor, I also have experience working with children on the autism spectrum and with ADHD. I am eager to continue my work in this field, providing learners and their families with the resources needed the achieve all their French goals!

I have a vast range of experiences, and I pride myself on my ability to alter curriculum materials to better suit the child's needs. I am able to create highly adaptable, interactive, and engaging lessons for all students of any age that follow the CORE French, French Immersion, or DELF curriculums. I am always ready to provide energetic and captivating sessions that aim to improve the speaking, writing, and comprehension of the French language for all learners!
For high school students, aiding with exam preparations is my specialty! I understand how difficult the studying process can be and I am equipped with a number of strategies to help you study (or cram) successfully before your tests and exams!

I am more than happy to travel to your home or to a central public location that works for you at a rate of $40 per hour. If you prefer online sessions, I am happy to set up meetings on Zoom, Google Meet, or Teams at a rate of $30 per hour.
If you wish to schedule several sessions at once, I would be happy to offer them at a discounted rate!
