About Gabriel
Studied 3 years at UIUC perusing a bachelors in Chemical Engineering. In that time I completed math courses from calculus I to applied linear algebra, physics up to electromagnetism and chemistry up to the 400 level. I aim to apply the knowledge I have gained by sharing it with others.
Please let me know what you would like me to cover ahead of time. I am new to tutoring and have been out of school for two years now so I might need some time, at most a day, to re-familiarize myself with certain concepts. I like being able to explain things in a way that is conducive to learning and sharing an understanding of the subject at hand. If something is beyond my grasp, I will let you know before wasting your time.

I like to take specific concepts and explain why things work the way they do, breaking it down into; the intuition behind a concept, why it is used in a specific context, and how to apply it to more general situations.
My lessons are broken down into going over any concepts or equations used to solve a problem, why they're used in that situation and understanding the variables; how and why they relate to each other using visuals, simulations and activities. I tailor my approach by having students explain to me their reasoning and understanding of the topic at hand.
