About Tife
Hello learners! My name is Tife, and I am a sophomore at Rutgers University-New Brunswick studying Electrical and Computer Engineering! So excited to tutor you!
If you are new to math or it isn't really your strong suit, that's okay! Remember that nobody's born knowing calculus and that everybody started small, even Isaac Newton and Albert Einstein! And while I won't teach you how to calculate the laws of universal gravitation or explain the curvature of spacetime, I can certainly help you take your D- in Algebra to an A+ in no time!

My lessons are typically for middle schoolers and high schoolers struggling with mathematical concepts from Algebra to Calculus II, but all ages are welcome with no judgment, as long as you are ready to learn!
As a sophomore in college, I've gone through the motions of mathematics, and I can relate with younger students because I'm a young student myself! A lot of times, learning math can be intimidating if taught by an older individual, so having a peer tutor can really alleviate any stress associated with mathematics!
I am a firm believer in the phrase "practice makes perfect!" The best way to retain information is through consistent and meaningful practice. During my lessons, I will encourage multiple practice quizzes per session and unit tests every two sessions. That proved to be the most helpful for me in many STEM-related fields!
