I start my class with a mind warm-up. Students learn better when engaged. Engaging students with activities helps them to think more critically about the content they are learning. Humor is an effective medium of teaching. Everyone loves a teacher with an infectious sense of humor. Looking at the lighter side of life fosters cordial relations between the teacher and students. The students aren’t afraid to be silly and can laugh at their own mistakes.
