About Daphne

My interest in computer programming started when I first discovered how software applications are created through code. This curiosity encouraged me to study computer science at the university level, where I completed a Master’s in Computer Science. Over the past 8 years, I have taught programming to students with different levels of experience and learning goals.

I believe programming should be taught with patience and practical learning. Beginners often feel uncertain when they start coding, so I guide them step by step and encourage them to experiment with their ideas. By solving coding problems together, students gradually build confidence and independence.

Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring new programming technologies and learning about modern software development practices. Staying updated allows me to bring useful examples into my lessons. Watching students progress from beginners to confident programmers is one of the most satisfying parts of my teaching journey.

About the lesson

Programming becomes easier when students understand the logical structure behind code. My lessons focus on teaching students how computers follow instructions and how programs are built step by step. We begin with basic concepts such as variables, loops, and conditions before moving into functions and program organization. Instead of memorizing code, students learn the reasoning behind programming structures and how to apply them to solve problems.

During lessons, students practice writing small programs and solving coding challenges. Beginners focus on understanding programming structure and writing simple code. Intermediate learners explore algorithms, debugging techniques, and program design. Advanced learners work on small projects that combine multiple programming concepts. Hands-on practice helps students see how their code produces real results and working programs.

As learners continue practicing, they develop logical thinking and confidence in solving programming challenges. Many students enjoy the creative process of writing code and building useful programs. My goal is to help students build strong programming foundations while encouraging curiosity and problem-solving skills.
