I believe that in order to get good at coding you need to practice more and more rather than just copying code online, so I give problems to solve to a turtling. I ask them to tell me what they think and if they are not correct I correct them. I also believe that theory is also important so I do give some theory background to understand what the terms mean, eg class, inheritance, variable they need to know what these terminologies mean and what they do and when they are used
