About Napoleon
Hi, I'm Napoleon! I'm a Computer Science instructor with 4+ years of experience teaching students ages 8–18, both one-on-one and in small groups, through Juni Learning and CodePath. I'm a Summa Cum Laude Computer Science graduate, and I also build and ship my own software, so what I teach comes from real, current practice and not just textbooks.

I believe students learn best by doing, not by watching. Rather than lecturing through concepts, I walk students through problems step by step, ask guiding questions instead of giving answers outright, and let them make (and learn from) mistakes in a low-pressure setting. I adapt constantly; if an explanation isn't landing, I'll switch analogies, slow down, or connect the concept to something the student already cares about, whether that's a video game, an app they use, or a hobby.
