About Sebastian
Hello everyone, my name is Sebastian and I am a recent graduate from Germany. I moved to Melbourne for a part-time IT internship and would love to help children, teenagers or even adults improve their logical thinking and mathematical skills. When I was in middle school, I also had difficulties understanding mathematical concepts, because I had different interests at the time and my teacher wasn’t the best. But one day my father took his time and tutored me for a few hours. In only those few hours, I discovered my passion for logical thinking and math, and from that moment on everything went smoothly for me when it came to mathematics. What I am trying to say is that having someone who is patient and motivated to help you understand concepts can be incredibly helpful and even life-changing. Because of that experience, I would love to pass on my knowledge and help others develop a solid mathematical understanding. I am patient, understanding, and always willing to give my best to teach you or your children. I am fluent in English, but I’m actually a native German speaker, so please be understanding if my English isn’t perfect.

My goal is to create a patient, supportive learning environment where questions are always welcome. I aim to help students build confidence in their logical thinking and mathematical abilities at their own pace.
Since I am new to tutoring, I offer a free initial lesson. This gives you or your child the chance to get to know me, see how I teach, and decide whether my approach is helpful.
If more lessons are needed and you feel I did a good job, I offer additional lessons for 20-25 AU$ per hour.
