I'm a former software engineer by trade, now an academic researcher. My experience spans multiple fields, and I have the deep understanding of mathematics and computer science to know how to help you understand these fields as well.

I can take on students at any level! Middle school algebra, high school calculus - you name it, I can help you with it!
How I teach:
I'm a big believer in the self-guided approach, where I'm not the one to give you, the student, an answer. For me, learning happens best when it's intrinsic, not extrinsic. Generally, I try to explain via walkthroughs, going step-by-step until we figure out what's gone wrong. (as a programmer, this is basically the debugging process!) As a student, if you don't already know what you don't know, that's fine too! I'm happy to work with you to figure out what you need and to provide the tools necessary for your success.
