I am a Computer Science student at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute where math is a major portion of my coursework. I currently tutor students in my area in person for math and science courses and have done so for four years.

I aim to assess where a student is in the topic that they need help with by using sample questions in which they work through their process of solving and identify pain points. I then tailor that session to that student's needs specifically by focusing on their weaker areas by providing examples that aim to hit that area. My lessons are primarily for middle and high school math students, though there is some flexibility for older and younger students.
