About Anne
- What kind of experience do you have?
I have 22 years of experience teaching piano, unparalleled experience as an international performer of both classical music and new music. I have recorded for several labels (Champs Hill, Discovery Records, Universal. I have contributed to programmes on the Today programme on BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio 3 in Tune, BBC One The One Show, etc.
Stephen Pritchard, music critic for The Guardian, hailed my recording for the label Champs Hill as attaining “a new heights of passion, [...] artistic quest finding a beautiful sense of line and delivering joyful exuberance” Giving it a highly recommended mention.
Most recently, The Eleventh Hour was featured in the Guardian :
“A soulful elegy for a Britain which has lost its bearings”.
I have previously taught masterclasses for young musicians as far as Brazil and have performed in many well known venues in the UK such as the Cadogan Hall and the Hackney Empire, the Cheltenham Music Festival, Canterbury Festival, St George's in Bristol as well as international concerts in Europe, South America and the United States.
Some of my students have been offered places at the Royal College of Music, The Conservatoire Superieur de Musique de Paris, Trinity College, Goldsmith University.
I am also a published composer with Faber Music alongside Paul McCartney, Dame Evelyn Glennie and Jonny Greenwood.

I was taught by Frederic Aguessy and Pierre Reach in Paris, Hamish Milne at the Royal Academy of Music and George Benjamin and Rob Keeley at King's College in London.

- Tell me about your qualifications.
I studied at the Conservatoire Superieur de Paris and furthered my education at the Royal Academy of London and King's College.
I hold a B.Mus, M.Mus and the L.RAM diploma, the most highly regarded diploma in piano teaching.
I have also had the chance to take part in masterclasses with some of the greatest performers of their time, Roger Muraro, Miriam Solovieff, Andrei Dieff, Pierre-Laurent Aimard, George Benjamin, etc.

- Where do you teach?
Teaching both at home (on a beautiful Grotrian Steinweg 7 foot Grand Piano) and at my student's homes. Hammersmith and Fulham, Kensington and Chelsea, Mayfair, Chiswick.

Weekdays daytime and evenings.
Saturdays.

- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
My method of teaching is recognised as one of the most successful in the UK. I can prepare my students for grade exams, entry to the Royal Schools of Music and University.
I teach my students individually with my method adapted to each of them, all done in a supportive environment.
Through my 22 years of experience, I have developed an understanding of each of my students' needs leading to a tailored approach. I believe each students has their own talent!
