About Oscar
I have grown up here in Melbourne, finishing my own high school experience in 2023. I now study Architecture at Melbourne University, and am 20 years old. Since completing high school I have been tutoring students, while also travelling before my own study.
I am an absolute science nerd! I loved learning about Biology and Physics in school, so I really love passing on that passion to my students. Apart from that I like to pass my time mostly playing and creating music, aswell as reading and drawing.
I am based in Brunswick West and can teach from my place with my own keyboard and guitar in a segmented studio area, or teach in home if preferable.

As a concert pianist and guitarist since my earliest childhood, music is a second language to me, and I love to share my passion with my students.
For beginner students, I focus on foundational concepts such as rhythm and chords, and basic note reading for piano. Most importantly lessons are fun and engaging, with lots of changes of pace as learning a new instrument can often be frustrating if done the wrong way.
For more advanced students in piano I can take students through early AMEB exams, teach complicated dynamics, scales, and high tempo pieces, using the correct techniques and study practices to take a complicated piece from its inception to a perfect comfortable and finished piece.
I can take on intermediate guitarists, teaching basic soloing and improvisational skills, intermediate pieces, and how to think creatively to start making your own music.
