I’ve been tutored by Qingyun for a while I highly recommend her. Her teaching style is very fun and engaging. She prepares all the material ready for each lesson and uses pictures and fun games to help memorise the different characters better. Learning a new language is difficult but Qingyun is very patient and isn’t judgemental when you get something wrong. Her straight forward feedback helped me improve very quickly as I knew exactly where I made that mistake.

QingYun is a wonderful teacher! She explains things easily when it comes to mandarin, I've been with her for a few months now and my mandarin has improved by a lot, she's super sweet and just a wonderful bubbly teacher! I’ve been receiving lessons from Qingyun for the past 6 months and she’s a phenomenal tutor. She’s extremely organised, able to prepare a tailored session in a short amount of time. She’s got an amazing memory and remembers which areas I need improving in. I am a visual learner and Qingyun finds clever ways on how to visually help me memorise the characters. My favourite part of the lesson is learning about the Chinese culture and history through Qingyun’s storytelling and explanations. I am a complete beginner but can already have a basic conversation in Mandarin! I can’t wait to keep learning with Qingyun!

I've been taking weekly lessons with Qingyun for 2+ years now. I casually signed up for lessons just to give it a go but immediately stuck with it because she makes it so fun and engaging. I went from zero experience to now learning at HSK level 3, my understanding and speaking has definitely improved since taking lessons with her. She's able to adapt to your needs - I specifically requested to learn only speaking, listening and reading, without writing. I would recommend her to anyone who is interested in learning Mandarin, whether they are a beginner or working at an intermediate/advanced level.

She gives really good techniques for listening practice. I got 85% in my HSK 3 listening test
when usually I get 60%.

My grammar has improved dramatically and I am more prepared for my speaking test!

Qingyun tutored me for quite some time. She helped me improve from a complete beginner up to the point where I was passing official mandarin certifications (HSK2) without getting any questions wrong! She is incredibly patient and is always able to make her lessons fun and engaging! I can also tell that she puts a lot of effort into each lesson, tailoring them to the needs of the student.
