About Leona
Holding a Bachelor of Music from the Australian National Academy of Music, I apply the same rigor to language as I do to performance. I teach Spanish full time after 9 years of working in creative spaces.
My approach covers cultural context, everyday phrases for beginners, and Latin American vs Castilian variants. We practice conversational fluency, listening practice, and travel Spanish. You are welcome to join me for a session if you want to be more effective.

You will find that speaking is the primary goal of our time together. I create a space where you feel comfortable making mistakes in Spanish. We use everyday phrases for beginners to bridge the gap between theory and real life. Do not expect to sit in silence.
We spend time on Latin American vs Castilian variants to build your ear. Listening practice remains a constant element of our work.
