Perfect! I had my first Spanish lesson with Nelly and it was a great success! I took conversational Spanish classes in college 20 years ago but did not have opportunities to practice. I have decided to be more intentional about seeking opportunities to practice and need to strengthen my conversational, reading and writing skills for my professional and personal growth.
Nelly immediately put me at ease with her friendly and patient presentation. She has an easy process of getting to know me and understanding my baseline Spanish language skills and what I want to achieve. I am an audio-visual learner and her interactive method of teaching- using the chat to write the conversation in Spanish and then having me read out loud what we talked about was very helpful. She explained the language rules and spoke at a pace that I was able to follow and gave me helpful hints during the conversation to help me correct my pronunciation. I look forward to continuing my lessons with Nelly and hope that I will make her proud as a student. Now off to my homework...
