About Reed
Beginners often feel overwhelmed by the complexity of learning a new language. 66 students have trusted me to guide them through this process since I began my career.
After years of stage and studio work, I now focus on Spanish alongside music. Keeping the conversation light makes the nuance of language acquisition feel much less like a chore. I find the most joy in seeing that moment when a student finally feels comfortable speaking.

Focusing on grammar rules first often prevents people from actually speaking the language correctly. My Bachelor of Music degree from the Sydney Conservatorium taught me how to break down complex systems into manageable habits. We spend our time on reading comprehension, interview preparation, listening practice, conversational fluency, Latin American vs Castilian variants, role play and dialogue practice, travel Spanish, and everyday phrases for beginners. It is quite methodical to connect these sounds to real life scenarios.
