The Holistic approach I use follow 6 principles:
1 -Thinking (the Limbic brain is responsible for processing emotion ) emotions are a huge driver and drainer depending upon our ability to process it correctly, we can eat, drink, exercise right but if we do not think right everything else follows.
2-Breathing (We can live without food for ten days, we can live without water for a couple of days but we can not live without breathing for more than a couple minute, therefore, breathing stands on a higher hierarchical survival level to many other things.
3- Hydration ( Water consist of 60% of an adult body) the quality and quantity we consume has numerous effect on our overall health
4-Nutrition ( What is food for one man is bitter poison for others; Lucretius first century BC )
5-Movement: The amount, intensity, length, and type of physical activity we practice have an impact on your overall health, hormonal health and amount of stress we bringing in, mixing the right concoction is art itself to make sure that we are not burning the candle from both ends.
6-Sleep: I will only say QUALITY although there is much more to it.
