About Amelia
I have 7 years of teaching experience and hold a Master of Science in Mathematics. During my teaching career, I have worked with students of different learning abilities, helping them overcome mathematical challenges through structured instruction, personalized support, and positive encouragement. I enjoy creating an engaging classroom environment where learners feel comfortable asking questions and exploring new ideas.
One student struggled with solving literal equations because rearranging formulas while maintaining equality often caused confusion. Lessons combine visual demonstrations, guided examples, collaborative discussions, independent practice, concept reviews, and reflective problem-solving activities. Students are encouraged to explain their reasoning, evaluate multiple solving methods, and recognize mathematical patterns that improve conceptual understanding and analytical thinking.
Practical examples from finance, software development, architecture, transportation planning, robotics, healthcare analytics, and environmental engineering demonstrate how algebra applies to real-world situations.
